New investor app onboarding

Context

Funding Societies is a fintech platform that enables individuals to invest in small and medium businesses through P2P lending. While the platform was growing, the existing investor experience lacked clarity around portfolio performance, investment flow, and trust — especially for users managing investments on mobile.

The goal was to design a dedicated investor app that made investing, tracking returns, and managing risk simple and transparent.

What I Did

I led the end-to-end design of the investor mobile app, working closely with product and engineering. I defined the core investment flows, including onboarding, portfolio overview, deal selection, and transaction confirmation, with a strong focus on clarity and trust.

I translated complex financial information into clear, scannable UI, designed high-fidelity screens and interactions, and iterated with stakeholders to balance regulatory requirements with usability.

Results & Impact

The investor app provided a clearer, more accessible way for users to manage their investments on mobile. Users could better understand portfolio performance, investment status, and returns, improving confidence in the platform.

The project established a scalable foundation for Funding Societies’ investor experience and supported continued growth in user adoption and engagement.
